Dr May Maung
May graduate from the University of Medicine in Yangon, she also speaks Burmese.
May settled in Geraldton with her family commencing work at Geraldton regional hospital predominantly in Paediatrics , obstetrics and Medicine for four years until 2015 when she joined Batavia health as a GP registrar through the WAGPET training scheme and has almost completed her GPT 3 Term and is awaiting her Fellowship from RACGP.
May is married to Dr Thet Wai who also works at Batavia Health; they share a 3-year-old son who keeps them very busy.

Geraldton has been her home since she migrated to Australia, she enjoys spending time with her family, May and Thet became Australian citizen in 2016 and look forward to many more happy years here.
